Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with livestock, equipment, and general aquarium questions
- Monitor and maintain water quality in display tanks
- Feed and care for saltwater fish, corals, and invertebrates
- Perform water changes, tank cleanings, and equipment maintenance
- Receive and acclimate new livestock shipments
- Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Operate the cash register and handle sales transactions
Qualifications:
- Interest or experience in saltwater/reef aquariums (required)
- Friendly and helpful customer service attitude
- Basic understanding of water chemistry (Calcium, Alkalinity, Nitrates, pH, Salinity)
- Able to lift 40+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Prior retail or aquarium experience is a plus
